What is it?
Dutch Open Monument Day—part of the European Heritage Days—is a two-day annual celebration when around 50 notable monuments in Amsterdam open their doors for free, many of which are normally closed to the public. Activities include guided tours, exhibitions, music performances, and family-friendly programs—all within the theme of Architectural Heritage to honour Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary.
