What is it?
The annual, free open-air classical-music concert now in its 43rd edition—held on a floating stage in the canal. The Amsterdam Sinfonietta, joined by guests John Holiday (countertenor) and Lucie Horsch (recorder), closes with the beloved “Aan de Amsterdamse grachten.” Thousands attend from boats, canal-side, or via AVROTROS broadcast.
